Hey Rupesh! Tell us a little about yourself, who are you and what do you do on your free time?
Hey there! I’m an enthusiastic and rational person who believes in living, learning and taking the step up one day at a time. In my free time I code personal projects, cook, train, listen to music and play guitar.
What’s your titel here at HDL?

How does a normal working day look like for HDL’s Software Developer Rupesh?
My day starts with the most important thing for me, a cup of tea. Then once I have done my daily checklist, I usually catch up with all the communication from the previous day.
Our daily stand-up starts at 10.30, which is an opportunity for all team members to discuss their progress and any issues they may have. After stand-up, if necessary, I spend some time with the team to sort out any problems they may have and then move on to a solid hour of coding.
After lunch, my afternoon usually consists of a couple of meetings regarding discussing upcoming functions that may require further discussion with other teams about potential solutions or with mentorship and then move on to a solid hour of coding.
To end my day, I try to clear my open objects, code review, write tests, documentation and fix bugs that may have been found by our quality assurance.
