HDL and Dogman in successful partnership: New platform and booking system launched
HDL is proud to announce that we have successfully completed a comprehensive project in close cooperation with Dogman. The project included a complete re-platforming from Magento and Pimcore to HDL Commerce as well as the development of a new booking and staff management system for Dogman services.
New platform for increased flexibility and scalability
To meet Dogman’s growing needs and future goals, we have migrated their e-commerce platform from Magento and Pimcore to HDL Commerce. This new platform offers increased flexibility, improved user experience and higher scalability, allowing Dogman to adapt their business as the company grows. The platform is designed to handle both current and future requirements, ensuring a solid foundation for Dogman’s digital presence.
HDL Commerce is HDL’s proprietary e-commerce platform commercialized in late 2022 that has seen rapid growth in the Nordic platform market.
Streamlining Dogman Care with a new system
To further strengthen Dogman’s services, we have built a customized booking and staff management system. This new tool allows customers to easily book appointments online, while staff have access to smooth scheduling and resource planning. The system is designed to streamline operations and create a smoother experience for both customers and staff.
A strategic multi-year partnership for sustainable growth
HDL and Dogman have entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with the goal of driving digital growth for both Dogman’s products and services. In the context of the tender, HDL was given a challenge: to deliver a complete solution on a strict deadline within 6-7 months, while Dogman was in the middle of a change of ERP system. Despite these challenges, HDL demonstrated its strength and flexibility by successfully completing a project of over 10,000 man-hours from start to launch.
This partnership extends over several years and includes continuous operation, support and retainer, where HDL ensures a smooth and stable management of Dogman’s digital platform. At the same time, HDL, through its sister company Kepler Cloud, has offered powerful and reliable Cloud hosting that has powered Dogman’s environments through intense campaign periods and peak traffic situations.
Kepler Cloud is based on proprietary hardware and uses the IAAS solution OpenStack in combination with Kepler’s proprietary software. This solution provides Dogman with a customized and seamlessly integrated Cloud experience that meets their unique needs.
Dogman has thus not only launched a new e-commerce platform, but also embarked on a strategic, cost-effective and sustainable long-term solution together with HDL and Kepler Cloud. This partnership ensures that Dogman is strongly equipped for future growth and success in the digital world.
