Creating an exception commerce experience for leading brands

Dogman, a well-established company in the pet care industry with stores in four countries, turned to HDL for a complete digital transformation.

The aim was to modernize their online presence, improve operational efficiency and increase sales. The assignment included a complete rebranding, replatforming of their B2C and B2B websites and integration of a new ERP system, while their sister brand Jacson.se was to move to the same platform.

Dogman needed to move from their existing Pimcore solution and Magento platform to a more scalable and dynamic solution to meet their growing needs.

The project included not only replatforming but also data migration, ERP integration and the transition to HDL Commerce with HavaPIM for product information management. The challenge was the tight timeframe - the project had to be completed in six months from start to launch.

HDL completed a full replatforming from Magento and Pimcore to our customized HDL Commerce platform, with HavaPIM as the product information management system.

We integrated Dogman's new ERP system and created a customized ERP connector to ensure smooth data flows between systems. The new, dynamic and personalized website also included integrations with key systems such as Voyado for customer loyalty and marketing, Lipscore for product reviews, Adyen for payments and a powerful B2B solution.

Our solution wasn't just about launching a new website, but about creating a fully integrated digital ecosystem that would help Dogman drive sales and improve operational efficiency. With our flexible and composable commerce platform, Dogman gained the scalability needed to grow both its B2C and B2B business.

In the first three months after launch, Dogman's B2C online sales doubled, thanks to strategic efforts and active optimization from our team. The seamless replatforming from Magento and Pimcore to HDL Commerce gave Dogman the tools needed to increase digital customer engagement and sales, while improving the customer experience.

Now HDL and Dogman are taking the next step in their collaboration by building a new integration with Sito, while further expanding the Voyado integration.

The goal is to create a comprehensive solution that connects in-store and e-commerce, which will improve the customer experience and optimize the flow between physical stores and the digital platform. This development will strengthen Dogman's ability to offer a cohesive and seamless experience for its customers, regardless of where they interact with the brand.
