We are pleased to announce that Sofiia Erik has joined HDL and is stepping into a key role in business development and customer success.

Sofiia has over eight years of international experience in sales, customer relations and strategic business development, with a proven track record of driving growth through partnerships, customer-focused strategies and smart digital tools. From hardware startups in San Francisco to leading partner strategies in Europe, Sofiia’s journey demonstrates both drive and versatility that fits perfectly with HDL’s ambitions.

In her most recent role as Head of Business Development at SolarGaps, Sofiia was a crucial force in the company’s expansion in the European market. She led go-to-market strategies, implemented AI-driven sales tools and increased customer engagement – contributing to a 1.6x increase in sales thanks to data-driven decisions and strategic partnerships

At HDL, Sofiia will focus on building strong, long-term relationships with our customers and partners, designing scalable outreach strategies, and ensuring that every touchpoint with HDL reflects our values: technology-driven, collaborative, and future-focused. She is passionate about combining data with human insight – something we value highly.

When we asked why she chose HDL, Sofiia replied:

“What attracted me to HDL was the combination of design, innovation and impact. The team here builds solutions that really make a difference. I look forward to contributing and creating new opportunities for growth.”

Sofiia is fluent in Ukrainian, English and Polish. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in IT Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Digital Innovation & Intrapreneurship.
